Our tips for ski-free days

Whether winter hiking, cross-country skiing or tobogganing – fun for the entire family is guaranteed, and this without skis!

Winter hiking

If you don’t want to ski, then you can still enjoy the beautiful snow-covered landscape on a snowshoe hiking tour.

20 km of winter hiking trails – in part flattened, groomed or cleared and a fascinating world of light, snow and ice.

Recommended equipment: sturdy winter boots or shoes with a good profile; warm clothes appropriate for the weather (possibly hat and gloves); 2 trekking sticks if possible.

Once arrived at the destination, you surely deserve a hot drink or even a small schnapps as reward!

Cross-country skiing

  • something for every cross-country skier: classic or skating style, beginner or pro
  • ideal starting point for long circular routes
  • amazing view to the Dolomites
  • in 1.350 m above sea level
  • followed by a stop at one of the Jause stations along the cross-country ski tracks

Through forests and meadows…

…on the Lavazé Pass, in 1.800 metres above sea level and only a few kilometres away, the cross-country ski tracks lead even into the Fiemme Valley, Italy’s cross-country ski centre.

Tobogganing on 2 tobogganing runs

  • uphill ride with the "Laner" combi-lift
